Dr. May Naji earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the North Carolina State university. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Naji completed her training in several different modes of practice where she gained extensive experience with primary care optometry, speciality contact lens fitting, and diagnosis and management of ocular disease. She has worked closely with retinal and corneal specialists as well as provided care to our nation’s veterans at two Veterans Medical Centers. Dr. Naji also completed training at Brooke Army Medical center where she was exposed to the highest level of diagnostic technology and gained valuable experience in treating and managing acute ocular cases.
Today, Dr. Naji performs comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts and other ocular pathology. She also has a special interest in contact lenses. Dr. Naji is a travel and adventure enthusiast and is passionate about community service.
Giving eye exams at the Carolina Eye Clinic has been very rewarding for Dr. Naji as she enjoys every interaction with each patient that walks through the door. She hopes to become your future eye doctor!
Dr. Vidacic grew up in Las Vegas and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she completed a Bachelor’s in Biology, graduating with University Honors. Following this, she earned her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. She then completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the VA Southern Nevada Medical Center. Dr. Vidacic is a member of the American Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is multilingual and in addition to English, is fluent in Serbo-Croatian and Spanish. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband. Dr. Vidacic is excited to be a new member of our term and looking forward to serving your eye care needs.
